“If a flower can flourish in the desert, you can flourish anywhere.”
While attending the annual Tucson Gem and Mineral Show this year, Linda, our owner and designer, was inspired by the beauty of her surroundings: towering cactus with muted green tones, breath-taking mountains that met the sky, and the most vivid watercolor sunsets she'd ever seen.
Linda's naturally drawn to pearls, which lead her to pair the gorgeous pearls she picked at this year's show with labradorite, a color-shifting stone said to strengthen creativity and imagination. Pearls and labradorite aren't necessarily a go-to combo in jewelry, but just like flowers in the desert, sometimes the most unlikely duos are just meant to be together.
One of our favorite expressions in the studio is "no grit, no pearl." And just like pearls, flowers that manage to bloom in the blistering, brutal conditions of the desert are truly beautiful.
We hope you enjoy our latest collection and the inspiration from which these beauties were created.
